Our coach will take you to Heathrow Airport for this tour which features accommodation in Engelberg, Innsbruck and Oberammergau; and includes magnificent scenery, places of interest and the unique Passion Play.

Brief summary of itinerary:

Day One: We travel by luxury coach to Heathrow for the flight to Zurich; then on to Engelberg.  Time for a stroll around the streets of this beautiful mountainside resort before evening dinner.

Day Two: Today we visit Bern, capital of Switzerland, and enjoy a sightseeing tour and a language discovery talk.  Tonight there will be a traditional Swiss cheese fondue dinner.

Day Three: Travel to Lucerne for a leisurely paced walking tour.

Day Four: We travel the picturesque highways to the Austrian border and to Innsbruck, where a local guide leads a panoramic city tour.  Tonight we enjoy a meal made up of local specialities.

Day Five: Travel to Salzburg for a leisurely walking tour which features Mirabell Gardens (seen in 'The Sound of Music').  Dinner tonight is in the historic city centre.

Day Six: A day at leisure in the beautiful city of Innsbruck.

Day Seven: Today includes a picture stop at the fairy tale Neuschwanstein Castle, and a visit to Wies Church.  We arrive at Oberammergau and enjoy a brief orientation tour.

Day Eight: A free morning before the performance of the Passion Play by native Oberammergauers - the origin of which dates back to 1634.  During the performance, join fellow travellers for a farewell dinner.

Day Nine: Today our tour ends as we travel to Munich Airport for our flight to Heathrow; then journey home by luxury coach with happy and long lasting memories of this 'once in a life time' holiday.
